When planning something as complex as an airport, how do you ensure that nothing is left out?
Our client needed an image that encompassed all of the aspects considered during airport planning, and more. An illustration was perfect for this job, as it allows a very literal representation of the subject, without getting caught up on the background, location and other details of a photograph.
The illustration incorporates 18 elements that influence the planning of an airport, such as potential airspace hazards, nearby heritage areas, public transport access, and air navigation aids.
A bird’s eye view perspective can sometimes turn out flat, but luckily there was no shortage of airspace action around this airport.
