We’re a design studio based in Wellington, Aotearoa/New Zealand, founded in 1999. We enjoy working with like-minded clients locally and all over the world. Our design team applies an information design lens to everything we do – whether that’s developing a campaign, brand or website, or bringing your information to life using infographics, illustration, animation and video.

Diane Burney

Founder and Strategic Leader

Diane directs Gusto’s strategic and business development. She values strong client relationships and the Japanese concept of Kaizen (continued improvement). Diane brings an amazing 25 years of business management and operations experience to our studio.

Creative Director

Annette leads our creative team and Gusto’s creative direction. With extensive experience in design and strategy, she transforms information through clear, engaging design. Ensuring exceptional quality at every stage with eagle-eyed attention to detail. In fact we think Aotearoa’s native kārearea falcon would be her spirit animal.

Studio Director

Heather brings a wealth of knowledge, seamless project management skills and a keen eye for design to Gusto. She is involved in projects from the initial discovery stages through to completion, all the way making sure clients feel comfortable, connected and supported.

Studio Manager and Marketing Coordinator

Steph is the first point of call for our studio. Drawing on 10 years of design industry experience, she guides all our projects, working closely with clients and our design team to ensure every project runs smoothly, within time and budget. You’ll also hear Steph’s bubbly voice across our socials.
