Gusto was asked to design the Forestry and Wood Processing Industry Transformation Plan. A major communication component of the public consultation on the future of a key primary industry.
We designed the plan to be engaging and easily navigated, with key messages highlighted throughout using a series of illustrated infographic spreads. This highly visual and clear document format ensures the plans New Zealand audience came away with a good understanding of the opportunities, challenges, processing flows and mix of products involved.
The plan presents a significant and exciting opportunity for sector transformation, with knock-on effects to the New Zealand economy. It aims to get more value out of our forests and trees by processing more logs in New Zealand, manufacturing sustainable and high-value timber products, and using residues to create bioproducts that provide low-emissions alternatives to fossil-fuel derived materials.
