Tō tātou taiao – Our environment
For this infographic we created a slice of life scene of Aotearoa, including three stages of schooling (ECE, high school and tertiary) sitting within the backdrop of a bright and bustling community landscape. Illustrative elements are chosen to help the audience recognise themselves and their communities within the scene, and the inclusion of native flora and fauna help ground it in New Zealand. This infographic illustrates the key focus areas of the Ministry for education and innovation in understanding and mitigating climate change. Its goal is to communicate that schools do not sit alone their response to climate change, but are part of a wider ecosystem that includes parents and whānau, councils, and service providers.
